What does OFX do with your personal information?

If you are a new customer, we can begin sharing your information 30 days from the date we sent this notice.  When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice. However, you can contact us at any time to limit our sharing.

How does OFX protect my personal information? You are receiving this notice from OFX which is a registered trade name of USForex Inc. (a Delaware corporation) and its U.S. affiliates.
How does OFX collect my personal information? We collect your personal information, for example, when you:
  • enter into a transaction or provide the details of transaction information
  • give us your contact information
  • make a wire transfer or tell us who receives the money
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing? Federal law gives you the right to limit only:
  • sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for non-affiliates to market to you
  • State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. See below for more on your rights under state law.
What happens when I limit sharing for a transaction I enter into jointly with someone else? Your choices will apply to everyone who is a party to the transaction

Definitions
Affiliate Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
Non-affiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
Joint marketing A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

Other important information
For California residents In accordance with California law, OFX will not share your personal information with companies outside of our corporate family, except as permitted by your state’s law, such as to process your transactions.
For Vermont residents In accordance with Vermont law, OFX will not share your personal information with companies outside of our corporate family, except as permitted by your state’s law, such as to maintain your account or process your transactions.
