What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are transferred to your device when you visit websites. They are used to store data about you and your preferences so that upon re-visiting those websites, the web server does not have to repeatedly request the same information. Cookies make it easier for website providers to personalize your experience and streamline your interaction with websites, potentially eliminating needless steps and improving your overall online experience.
Cookies that expire at the end of a browser session are called ‘session cookies’. Cookies that are stored for longer are called ‘persistent cookies’.
Other Tracking Technologies
In addition to cookies, we use other similar technologies to track users of our services and visitors to our Website. Examples of these technologies include:
Web Beacons: Web beacons (also known as pixels and clear GIFs) are small graphic images that are invisibly embedded on web pages (rather than on a browsing device) and are used to track user movements and identify user behavior.
Flash Cookies: Flash cookies (also known as a Local Shared Object or an LSO) are text files that are stored on your browsing device when you visit a website that runs a Flash application. Flash cookies function in a similar manner to regular browsing cookies and are intended to personalize a user’s online experience.
Whether a cookie is a first or third party cookie depends on which website the cookie comes from. First party cookies are those set by or on behalf of the website visited. All other cookies are third party cookies. We use both first party and third party cookies.
Some of the cookies we use are necessary or critical to provide our services or certain features of our services. For example, use of these types of cookies allow you to access secure areas of our Websites, perform core tasks and take advantage of certain key functions or applications of our services. Without these cookies, some of our services could not be provided.
Cookies are used to collect information about how you use our Websites, such as which pages you most frequently visit, how much time you spend on a page or how often you receive error messages. This information gives us insights into overall site performance as well as a better understanding of what improvements or modifications may be necessary.
Cookies or similar technologies may be used by us or our third-party service providers to deliver relevant ads to you and track ad campaign performance and effectiveness.
We may use third-party providers, such as Google AdWords and other advertising networks, to display relevant advertising to you on our Websites as well as other third-party sites. This means that after you visit our Websites, you may see advertisements about our services elsewhere on the Internet. Any information collected through this process does not enable us or the third-party provider to access personally identifiable information about you. Such advertising will not be delivered where prohibited by applicable law. For more information about targeted advertising and advertising cookies, please visit Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance.
Which cookies does OFX use?
We classify cookies using the following categories:

These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources, so we can measure and improve the performance of our Websites. They help us know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around our Websites. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous.
These cookies enable our Websites to provide enhanced functionality or personalisation. They may be set by us or by third party providers whose services we have added to our Websites.
These cookies may be set through our Websites by our advertising partners. They may be used by those advertising companies to show you relevant adverts on other sites. They do not store Personal Information, rather are based on uniquely identifying your browser and device.
Social Media Plug-ins
We may use social plug-ins on our Websites that are hosted by third parties, such as Meta or other social media networks. If you activate these social plugins, you may be sending information about your interaction with our Website to such third parties.
