Registration

To register, we will require your full name, DOB, current residential address, occupation, email & contact details.

After you’ve registered and we’ve verified your identity, you can begin transferring online.

If this is your first transfer, one of our team members will call you to confirm your transfer. Our global team is on hand if you ever need help making a transfer, otherwise you can complete your own transfers online.

We'll also send you an email and/or SMS to keep you updated on the status of your transfer, or you can track your transfer via our mobile app.

OFX usually verifies your identity electronically in a quick, secure process. However, sometimes we’ll need to get additional documents from you during the verification process.

If you’re setting up a business account, the type of verification documents OFX requires will depend on the type of business and where it is registered. During your initial OFXpert call, our team will let you know what is required.

Once you’ve sent us the required documents, we’ll aim to respond within a few business days after we receive them to get your OFX account set up.
If the identity verification process is taking longer than you anticipated and you need to make an urgent transfer, please contact an OFXpert.

Yes. OFX requires our clients to register before making a transfer. But don’t worry, getting started with OFX is easy. Find more information about the registration process here.

For additional information or questions feel free to contact one of our FX experts (we call them OFXperts).

OFX requires two different forms of identification for your photo identification and proof of address. A driver’s license is not an acceptable proof of address document. Acceptable forms for proof of address include but are not limited to a utility bill, a bank statement, a credit card statement, a lease agreement, an insurance policy, or a mobile phone bill. Your OFXpert will let you know exactly what we need when you register. If you have additional questions feel free to reach out to an OFXpert.
