After you’ve registered and we’ve verified your identity, you can begin transferring online.

If this is your first transfer, one of our team members will call you to confirm your transfer. Our global team is on hand if you ever need help making a transfer, otherwise you can complete your own transfers online.

We'll also send you an email and/or SMS to keep you updated on the status of your transfer, or you can track your transfer via our mobile app.

Typically, we verify your identity electronically and pretty quickly. However, sometimes we’ll need to get some documents from you.

If you’ve sent us documents, we’ll try to respond back to you within a few business days after we receive them. 

If it’s taking longer than this, and you need to make an urgent transfer, please get in touch at 207 614 4194 we will be happy to assist you.

Yes. We do require our customers to register before making a transfer. But, don’t worry – it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Here’s how: 

  1. Register. Fill in your details online – there’s no cost or obligation to make a transfer.
  2. We’ll call you. After you register, an OFX team member will call you to complete the setup and answer any questions you have.

  3. Verification. Most of the time we verify our customers automatically, so you won’t need to send us any paperwork. However, if we need any documents, we'll be in touch.

Now it's time to make your first transfer! Once you’ve locked-in your transfer, we’ll call you to confirm and discuss payment options. After we’ve received the funds from you, we’ll make the transfer to your recipient.

A driver's licence can be used as either photo identification or as a proof of address however not as both.

We require 3 different forms of identification. We accept a number of identification documents such as a Passport or Utility Bill, our friendly customer service team will be let you know exactly what we need when you register.
