With traditional banks, obtaining new cards or adjusting limits required lengthy approval processes, often involving non-executive directors and manual paperwork. Stone & Chalk loved the flexibility of having credit cards, but needed a way to get all the benefits, without the long wait times.
“It would take so long to actually get a card from the bank, and then to change the limit on that card would take so long.
