Conor Fleming
With 30 years of experience in the foreign exchange world, Conor first embarked on his financial career journey as a trainee dealer in BNP Paribas in the early 90s. He then moved to Citibank in London, where he was responsible for managing the Italian Lira and French Franc books on the trading floor. He played a pivotal role in providing liquidity for some of the world's largest corporations and central banks and assisting them mitigate foreign currency risk.
His professional journey also took him to New York, where he assumed the role of Head of Sales with an Irish bank for a few years. During his tenure at both banks, he was invited to several interviews on Irish television to discuss market turbulence, the factors driving volatility and insights into what could be expected as events unfolded.
Now based in Ireland, Conor spearheads initiatives to encourage businesses in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria to hedge their foreign currency risks with OFX. He is passionate about cultivating strong corporate relationships and takes a proactive approach to helping his clients by reaching out to them and sharing valuable information to support their financial objectives.
A father to four children, Conor enjoys playing chess and golf in his free time. He also has a talent for playing musical instruments, such as the piano and accordion.
